SEPTEMBER BIRTHSTONE - SAPPHIRE

A maiden born when autumn leaves

Blue is one of the world’s favorite colors. It is a color linked to sympathy, calmness and loyalty.
Sapphires come in a wonderful variety of blues and though some may not realize it, many other colors as well.
Depending on the minerals present in the earth during the stones formation you can find red, pinks, greens, white and even black sapphires.
Wearing of the Sapphire helps to bring about or vitalize the calmness center. It clears the mind, strengthens ones resolve to be loyal and faithful to another person or endeavor.
I absolutely love the deep blues especially when set with diamonds in white gold. White gold adds to the purity of power and intent desired by wearing of the stone.
Setting the Sapphire into yellow gold brings out the wearers strength to complete a task with a clear mind.
