My name is Jessie Lynn. They call me the “Angel Lady” and I AM A HUMAN ANGEL. What do I mean by that…what is a Human Angel? Ordinary people just like you and me who make a commitment to be in the right place and right time to be of assistance to another. Assistance doesn’t necessarily have to take the form of money although it can. It can be as simple as a smile for a stranger, the touch of a hand, a phone call just to say hi.

I had heard the term Human Angel from teachers I considered more “spiritual” than me. How could I be a human angel and where did I start? I had not attended church services regularly since 1993 and don’t consider myself religious. Was I good enough to be a human angel? As my mind chatter (ego) presented all the reasons I didn’t qualify, my heart told me otherwise. Who had played the role of a human angel in my life? What did they do that I could pass on to someone else?

I decided to start small with a phone call to a friend I hadn’t talked to in a while, My friend was depressed, laying in bed with the covers over her head. Why did I choose this particular friend to call right then? I believe our angels guide us to those we can be a human angel to. Do you know someone who could use some encouragement? Our Angels bring us together to help each other. Look around you. Who’s heart can you touch today?
